FAQs

  • What is Writing Affirmations For The MehⓇ (Everyday Concerns Support Group) about?

Simple and doable self-affirming tools for inner exploration of our thoughts and emotions!

At Writing Affirmations for The Meh, author-artist Adwaita Das shares affirmative prompts to guide participants through emotional processing while we scribble, think, feel, breathe, and just let ourselves be. A Psychologist provides mental health support during the session.

This is not a writing workshop, anyone who would like to explore their emotions and thoughts can attend this session.

Each session has a different set of themes and is designed to help us explore these themes. Memories, emotions, thoughts, bodily sensations related to the themes can come up during the session. Through the session we also have easy grounding body movements to help regulate and soothe ourselves.

This space is open to anyone feeling the Meh. The Meh can be overwhelming thoughts and feelings, or numbness; a way to say you’re not okay.

  • How does one sign up? What's the coordination process like?

Sign up using our google form!

You will then receive an email a day before the session with joining details, and another session on the day of the session as a reminder. That’s it, you join in! We also really appreciate when people inform us if they will not be joining the session.
