I knew I wanted to engage in a profession that could make human lives better and I could not think of a profession more in line with my motivation. Thankfully I also had a natural knack for understanding human experiences free from my judgment. With proper training and experience I felt like this was the perfect professional role for me.
I find it very rewarding to support people in understanding themselves better and subsequently helping them achieve their goals. I strongly believe with a little support we can all unlock our best selves and seeing that happen for my clients is the biggest perk of my job.
I hope they take back a clear understanding of what therapy entails, have some trust in the setup being a judgment-free and safe space for them to share and have a direction to understanding their mental health.
I’d say therapy is a safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. You will not be loaded with any advice, rather supported to achieving your own goals. I’d also mention that therapy is not exclusively for those who are clinically distressed. Anyone who is feeling stuck and needs support can seek this guidance. In addition, therapy can also be really fun and interesting space for clients to uncover who they truly are.
I’d like to build a relationship of trust and mutual respect where in feedback can be comfortable shared about counseling techniques. I’d also want for my clients to find the sessions resourceful and constructive in aiding their personal growth.
That with commitment and openness you can turn your life around.

I use humanistic approach infused with psychodynamic informed elements. To put simply, I help you identify what is the gap between your real self and your ideal self and how can we reduce it. Time and again we may use elements of psychodynamic work to use your childhood experiences to understand your mental patterns.
I have taken trainings to stay informed about LGBTQ+ terminology, issues, and experiences. I ensure I use inclusive language and stay affirmative in my language. I also welcome client feedback to ensure I am creating a safe space for everyone.

We've developed a curation process over 7+ years, which allows us to carefully curate each inclusive and affirming mental health provider listed on our platform.
We have come a long way since we started in 2018, and have been adapting our curation process every day. From the time a therapist or support group reaches out to us, it takes about 1 - 2 months to complete the process.
We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.
We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.
If you appreciate our mission of making mental health care accessible and inclusive, and would love to bring this to your organization or collaborate with us, we'd be delighted to hear from you!
