Through my own experiences with counselling, I have come to know the immense help just speaking to someone can be and so being able to provide an environment that is non-judgemental and open is something that I strive to do. Working with individuals is an experience that is equal parts challenging and satisfying, unparalleled to any other.

I hope that I am able to provide an environment that is truly open and judgement-free. I hope that my clients will be able to experience the first release of being able to speak their mind and about their feelings.
Counselling is a symbiotic relationship between the client and the counsellor. The counsellor doesn’t have the answers to specific problems but they do have skills to be able to provide an environment where the client can explore their feelings to get a better understanding of the difficulties they face, and in the process of themselves as well.
This relationship would be of mutual trust and respect. It will be a relationship with no defined path, but a relationship that will lead to self discovery for both of us.
I feel that with every new client, I have an opportunity to understand myself better through them. Each of them makes me reflect on aspects of my own life, because true empathy cannot be had without truly commiserating with the client.
I find that the counselling process is a learning curve with each client, and being open to constant new learnings is a strong strength in any counsellor.
I enjoy pursuing academic endeavours such as research. I also enjoy being in nature and trekking on weekends. More than anything though I love some time to read my book with some music on or watch some mindless television.
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

We have come a long way since we started in 2018, and have been adapting our curation process every day. From the time a therapist or support group reaches out to us, it takes about 1 - 2 months to complete the process.
We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.
We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.
