In partnership with a therapist, the group explores themes such as work, relationships, family, personal dreams, ambitions, and more, fostering an environment of mutual support and empowerment.

Group Objectives:
- This group offers a secure and confidential setting for women to share their experiences and challenges. The primary goal is to improve emotional well-being through facilitated discussions, explore self-care practices, and inspire one another in personal growth journeys.
- With the therapist’s leadership, our aim is to create a supportive community that encourages resilience, self-discovery, and the development of healthy coping mechanisms tailored to the distinct roles and challenges women encounter.
Topics to be Discussed:
- Identity 1.1. Unfiltering - Initial session – getting acquainted, establishing goals, and discussing group boundaries 1.2. Being a woman in today’s world – experiences, challenges, and expectations 1.3. Cultural context – understanding its influence, personal meanings, and fitting in (or not) 1.4 Identity and its Roles – examining the various labels we carry – ‘daughter’, ‘queer’, or ‘introvert’, and distinguishing between societal roles and personal choices
- Relationships and Intimacy (family, romantic relationships, friendships, etc.)
- Health and Wellbeing (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health)
- Women’s Role in Society (career, education, finances, social media, etc.)
- Personal Development (values, aspirations, letting go of the past)
- Gratitude and Happiness (mindful self-compassion, gratitude practice, and looking ahead)

Facilitator Bio:
Ramni Kaushik is an Individual and Group Psychotherapist and a WellbeingEducator, passionate about supporting South Asian adults break free from self-limiting labels, relationships, and structures to step into their fullest selves. Withover six years of experience across corporates, nonprofits, and academic spaces,she brings a deeply intersectional, trauma-informed, and queer-affirmativeapproach to mental health.Through her private practice, Unhold, Ramni creates spaces for individuals andcommunities to navigate their emotional and systemic journeys—beyond justcoping, toward transformation. She firmly believes that healing in isolation canbe limiting; true growth emerges through relational and systemic support. Thisphilosophy drives her work in Group Therapy, which she sees as a powerfulmedium for connection, reflection, and change.Currently training in Group Analytic Therapy with the Institute of GroupAnalysis, UK (in collaboration with HNI, India), she continues to refine herexpertise in fostering meaningful therapeutic spaces. Whether working withindividuals or facilitating groups, her goal remains the same: to help peopleexperience healing, agency, and connection in ways that feel authentic to them.
