Facilitator Bio:
I am Turfa, a psychotherapist with over three years of experience supporting young adults and adults. I have previously worked as a Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Faculty at well-regarded institutions in Karnataka. I now offer online therapy to clients in India and to Indian citizens living abroad. My approach is integrative, collaborative, and centred on each person’s lived experience. Creating a space where an individual feels understood, heard, and supported is at the heart of my work. I don’t take an ’expert’ stance. I see therapy as a process where each person is climbing their own mountain. I may not tell someone how to climb theirs, but I can offer perspective and a vantage point to help them understand their journey more clearly.
People often come to me with concerns related to healing from difficult or distressing life experiences, childhood emotional neglect, anxiety, stress, low mood or depression, gender identity and sexuality, neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism), interpersonal relationships, and challenges related to self-worth, body image, or major life transitions. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and an intersectional lens sensitive to social context, honouring each person’s unique history, life story, and healing journey.
