- Breaking the ice with the group and the idea of art.
- Letting go of the idea that one cannot make art or is not an artist.
- Exploring emotions through different art techniques.
- Using verbal and visual metaphors for expression.
- Incorporating art journaling into self-care routines.
What Will We Talk About?
- Each session will involve interactive drills and prompts to explore different emotions and art techniques.
- We will also discuss the use of metaphors in art and journaling, and how to seek inspiration for prompts.
- A guided meditation session will be included to enhance the art journaling experience.

- Session 1: “I am not an Artist” - Breaking the ice, letting go of inhibitions, and getting a taste of art journaling.
- Session 2: “From Dots to Doodles” - Exploring emotions through small format drills and processing a prompt.
- Session 3: “Tapping into Your Feelings via Metaphors” - Exploring verbal and visual metaphors, processing a deep prompt, and experiencing guided meditation.
- Session 4: “Matching Intent & Inspiration | Habit Building” - Transitioning from prompts to using art journaling as a self-care tool, seeking inspiration, and an Art/Heart Graduation ceremony.
