Facilitator Bio:
Preethi Rajagopalan is a Trauma Informed Dance Movement Therapy Practitioner with a passion for empowering individuals through the transformative power of movement. In 2015, she earned her certification as a Dance Movement Therapy Facilitator from the esteemed Creative Movement Therapy Association of India (CMTAI).
Building on her foundation, she pursued a postgraduate-level dance therapy program at the prestigious National Centre for Dance Therapy (NCDT) in Montreal, Canada. Preethi has further credentials in trauma studies from the Trauma Research Foundation in the USA and the Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate Program from The Embody Lab. To further her understanding of the body and mind, she’s currently enrolled in a 3-year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner training program from Somatic Experiencing International. She currently is the Co-Director of the Certificate Course in Dance Movement Therapy offered by CMTAI and works at a Maarga Mind Care as a part time Dance Movement Therapy Practitioner.
