Growing up, it was always easy for people to confide in me with their deep dark secrets. I never thought of judging them, instead their stories always intrigued me to understand them better. I believe this curiosity to understand human behaviour continue to persist in me. Psychology helped me answer the why behind the human behaviour and i knew i wanted to take this up further. Counselling then, became a vehicle for me to help individuals revive their connection with themselves. This continues to encourage me to thrive in this field.
That the process of counselling is a two way street. How counselling becomes a place of growth through self-discovery and an ever learning process for both the therapist as well as the client.
The hope is for them to find a safe space where they can bring their vulnerable self and feel absolutely safe and non-judgmental. For them to experience epiphanies about their patterns that no longer serve them.
It is never too late to build a healthy relationship with yourself. Self-discovery is tough but a rewarding journey. And for the tough part, you don’t have to do it alone.
Fun & casual, but also an objective based therapeutic relationship. The healing journey can feel daunting, and you don’t have to do it alone. While we can take breathers and talk about pets, food, travel, movies, etc. we will also circle back to what cannot be left behind out of comfort or resistance.
Everything that troubles you need not be fixed. Many times, it just needs to be felt.
I definitely believe compassion is one of my strengths and being able to hold space for some of the most intense emotions for my clients. Second is respect, I find privilege in being trusted by my client to open up about the most difficult parts of them and I value that space with respect. Lastly, I am always open to learn and grow, because still curious to learn and know more about the ever evolving human behaviour :)
Spending time with my pet, read, write, simply sit and observe nature and stay with my thoughts, cook, watch movies, shows, listen to podcasts.
In my approach to therapy, i keep my clients at the centre. My hope is to make them feel heard and validated and hold a non judgmental space for them to bring their most authentic self. I also build my approach from different school of thoughts which have a holistic lens to my clients concerns
I would hold a space of empathy and unconditional acceptance for them. All of them and their parts are truly welcome in their most authentic form. World as is has many complexities for them, therapy can be a space for an altering experience of compassion and acceptance.

We've developed a curation process over 7+ years, which allows us to carefully curate each inclusive and affirming mental health provider listed on our platform.
We have come a long way since we started in 2018, and have been adapting our curation process every day. From the time a therapist or support group reaches out to us, it takes about 1 - 2 months to complete the process.
We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.
We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.
If you appreciate our mission of making mental health care accessible and inclusive, and would love to bring this to your organization or collaborate with us, we'd be delighted to hear from you!
