What excites me most about being a counsellor is the opportunity to witness and be part of so many rich and diverse human experiences. The very act of being present with someone in their vulnerability and offering them a safe space can, in itself, be transformative. Even small shifts can create meaningful change in someone’s life, and being part of that process is incredibly fulfilling.
This work is also deeply enriching on a personal level. Beyond academic knowledge, it offers continuous learning through human connection. The therapeutic space often mirrors back insights that deepen my own self-awareness and growth. It’s a profession that not only serves others but constantly teaches and shapes me too and that, I find profoundly motivating.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic and trauma-informed, grounded in humanistic and relational principles. I place importance on meeting clients where they are, viewing therapy as a collaborative process where the client remains the expert of their own experience. The foundation of my work is to offer a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and authentic allowing what needs to emerge to do so at its own pace.
My work is also deeply relational and rooted in understanding the role of attachment patterns, early life experiences, and how they shape our emotional world and relationships in adulthood.
I integrate elements from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transactional Analysis (TA), and Gestalt therapy. These modalities support exploration of the multiplicity within the self, bringing awareness to internal dynamics, patterns of relating, and emotional responses. The work often focuses on both the influence of past experiences and what is happening in the “here and now,” creating space for insight, integration, and change.
Overall, my practice is rooted in holding space with curiosity, compassion, and transparency honoring the complexity of each individual’s process.
As a therapist rooted in humanistic principles, I welcome each individual with unconditional positive regard, empathy, and respect for who they are. I hold space for people from all communities, without expecting them to fit into any pre-defined box, allowing for fluid and open exploration of identity.
I strive to ensure that gender, sexuality, and identity are never pathologized but seen as valid and integral parts of the self. I’m intentional about the language I use, remain open to feedback, and stay accountable through ongoing supervision and self-reflection.

We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.
We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.
If you appreciate our mission of making mental health care accessible and inclusive, and would love to bring this to your organization or collaborate with us, we'd be delighted to hear from you!
