My passion for mental health has been a driving force throughout my life. During my master’s program, I explored the field of counseling and discovered how well it aligns with my interests and skills. These experiences also highlighted the importance of understanding both individual situations and the systems that influence people’s lives. My goal as a counselor is to create a safe space for individuals to explore their lives.
As a counselor, I love working with people from all walks of life. The clients I work with allow me to reflect and grow as a person. As I hear about their stories of struggle, inspiration, exploration, and growth I understand the power and resilience of the human spirit. The journeys I share with my clients are incredibly meaningful to me, as they illustrate the tangible differences and profound impact they have had on my life.
I hope my clients feel heard, safe, and assured. Taking a step for one’s mental health is difficult in itself. When my clients are in this counseling space with me, I want them to feel free to be themselves, even if it is just for a bit.
I would encourage them to take this leap of faith with an open heart. The journey of counseling is likely to be filled with learning, growth, and self-discovery.
I aim to build a relationship grounded in trust, respect and collaborative efforts.
People are always responding. No matter the situation or the challenge, each one of us is capable of immense resilience.
I am a curious little cat and am always on a look out to learn. I also value establishing a respectful and non judgmental relationship with my clients.
I love watching k-drama, reading books, listening to Taylor swift on repeat and finding new places to eat at!
My approach to therapy is non directive, person centered, rights-based intersectional lens. Well, if we remove this therapeutic jargon, it basically means that I see my clients as the expert of their lives and my role is to walk along side them, nudging them in the direction that would be worth exploring. I mainly use Narrative approach along with sprinkles of feminist lens, CBT, SFBT among others.
‘Nothing about us, without us’’
This is a statement that I truly believe in. To ensure that my practice is safe and informed, I seek guidance and supervision from other practitioners who identify as queers and/or trans. I have also completed a certification in QACP which has allowed me to learn more about the unique challenges of the community.
Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect

We've developed a curation process over 7+ years, which allows us to carefully curate each inclusive and affirming mental health provider listed on our platform.
We have come a long way since we started in 2018, and have been adapting our curation process every day. From the time a therapist or support group reaches out to us, it takes about 1 - 2 months to complete the process.
We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.
We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.
If you appreciate our mission of making mental health care accessible and inclusive, and would love to bring this to your organization or collaborate with us, we'd be delighted to hear from you!
