The reason initially was as simple as immense interest in the subject, but through the course of time I developed a deeper understanding of human interactions and a passion towards helping clients with their difficult emotions with empathy and a positive attitude.
The individuality and uniqueness of each client.
The first session is dedicated to building rapport and making client understand the process of therapy. I encourage the clients to ask all the queries they might have about counselling, so as to commence the process with some clarity.
It is natural to feel apprehensive about choosing a therapist and to commit to therapy. One must feel free to ask the therapist about all the doubts that they might have in mind. A client must also keep in mind, that the cost of therapy is not an expense, but an investment in their wellbeing.
I strive to build a positive relationship of trust and empathy with my clients.
Each individual has different interactions and experiences that colours the fabric of their being. Hence, their experience of distress is also unique. It doesn’t help to see everyone with the same lens.
My strong sense of empathy and acceptance
I love to read, embroider, tend to my plants and spend time with my family.
I use an eclectic approach comprising of Client Centred, Acceptance and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. I strongly believe that every individual has the power within to find answers to their questions. As a therapist I help them navigate through their difficult emotions and to realise their strengths and weaknesses. I also make them understand how thier thought process affect their overall wellbeing.
In my therapeutic journey I have realised that many a times learning involves unlearning. I try to keep myself informed through available resources as well as through interactions with my peers, clients and students.

We've developed a curation process over 7+ years, which allows us to carefully curate each inclusive and affirming mental health provider listed on our platform.
We have come a long way since we started in 2018, and have been adapting our curation process every day. From the time a therapist or support group reaches out to us, it takes about 1 - 2 months to complete the process.
We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.
We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.
If you appreciate our mission of making mental health care accessible and inclusive, and would love to bring this to your organization or collaborate with us, we'd be delighted to hear from you!
