This is a support group for individuals navigating chronic pain, both visible and invisible conditions.

Glimpse of the Regime:
Session 1:
- Getting to know the group.
- Introductions and sharing hopes and expectations for the group process and what they need from group members.
- Sharing lived experiences with chronic pain and resources and tools that have aided coping.
- Closing with somatic breath and body work.
Session 2:
- Impact of chronic pain on physical, emotional, mental, social, and sexual functioning.
- Exploring your relationship with productivity.
- Stigma experienced.
- Witnessing the inner critical voice and questioning it with curiosity and compassion.
Session 3 & 4:
- Using the arts to witness the body.
- Understanding your relationship with the body and pain.
- Drawing the pain in your body.
- Invitation to dialogue with it to understand how you can better attend to it.
- Visualization activity to connect with your inner power and compassion.
- Recognizing and understanding your unique needs and what it will take to make room for them.
- Exploring healthy boundaries to aid attending to your needs.
Session 5 & 6:
- Mindfulness practice of savoring and grounding in self-worth.
- Exploring rituals and practices of self-care and radical self-acceptance.
- Engaging in an expressive arts activity to witness all the resources available to you.
- Acknowledging your support systems and strengths.
- Sharing takeaways and reminders to self.

Facilitator Bio:
Jyotsna is a certified practitioner with 5+ years of experience who uses movement and other expressive arts as a medium for change and empowerment of communities. Her vision is to create safe spaces for creative self-exploration and uninhibited expression.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and PG Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She has also completed her certification in Creative Movement Therapy from CMTAI New Delhi.
She regularly conducts sessions and workshops with different sections of population.
She is an empaneled facilitator for Manah Wellness, Pune and facilitates online sessions for neurodivergent young adults for The Art Sanctuary, Bengaluru.
Her community work includes sessions with children aged 7 to 17 years with NGOs, namely, UdayanCare and Society for Promotions of Youth and Masses (SPYM) in New Delhi. Movement and expressive arts sessions with adults at Ummeed Rehabilitation Centre.
She has conducted workshops for organizations like Red FM, Skylark Institute of Travel, Soul as a Race, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi. Her workshops at various locations in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Visakhapatnam have been focused on exploration, expression, self-awareness, and self-discovery
