Facilitators:

  • Sadaf Vidha She/her (Cis queer woman)

I have done my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in 2015. My pronouns are she/her (ciswoman). I am a freelance consulting psychologist and in the past, I have worked in a school where I dealt with behavior and emotional issues of children, teenagers and also worked with parents. I worked for 1.5 years at an online counseling firm called Type a Thought where we took sessions through chat, phone and video. I have handled anxiety, depression, body image issues, confidence problems, family issues and relationship concerns in adults and teenagers when working there. Since January 2018, I have been seeing clients on my own (not through an organization), in person, in Vashi and Dadar, and through online modes.I use a mix of thought based therapies (like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and constructivist therapies like Narrative Therapy. Other interventions I use are Family and Couple therapies, Art Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. At times I also use analytical therapies like Jungian and Transactional Analysis. I am a Queer Affirmative therapist. I use the social justice and intersectional feminist lens in my work.

  • Aryan Somaiya He/Him (Transman queer)

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology. My experience include providing therapy through technology based modes to individuals from young people to middle-aged adults. I am a transman and keenly interested in working with queer and trans clients. I am a co-creator and co-facilitator of Queer Affirmative Counselling Practices and have held trainings on gender-sexuality, pleasure and desire at universities like Tata Institute of Social Sciences. I also have a keen interest in building safe spaces for queer and trans people. I primarily use queer and trans feminist approaches and other strength-based approaches of counselling.

**Note: This workshop does not certify you as a queer/trans affirmative therapist.

Finding Support On TheMindClan.com

How It Works

1. Find Support

Browse our curated list of mental health professionals, support groups, and resources that resonate with you.

2. Learn More

Read detailed profiles, specialties, and approaches to understand if they're the right fit for you.

3. Connect Directly

We'll help you reach out and then step aside - your mental health journey is personal.

While we carefully curate our listings, we encourage you to make your own informed decisions. Take time to research, ask questions, verify credentials and choose what feels right for you. Your comfort and safety is top priority.

Inspired By Our Own Struggles.

We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.

We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.

For Everyone

Whether you're coping with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, grief, or any other mental health concern, we're here to help you find the right support.

Inclusive by Design

If you are queer, neurodivergent, or are from a marginalized community, your experiences are at the heart of what we do.

Handpicked with Care

Support providers are handpicked after personal interviews and a rigorous curation process.

For context: From 442 therapist who wanted to join our platform (Oct 2020–Mar 2025), only 168 made it through our curation process.

Not Just Therapy

We also curate support groups πŸ‘₯, create digital exercises πŸ“±, and work on corporate partnerships 🏒 that help make mental health a priority in more spaces.

No Middlemen. Take Things Ahead Directly

We provide you with direct contact details of support providers, empowering you to reach out, ask questions, and schedule sessions

Access Their Story

Get to know your potential therapist or support group's background & journey, helping you find someone who feels right for you.

Confidential

Your conversations with support groups, therapists, and others remain completely private. We never ask them for any information about the concerns you have shared with them.

Your Relationship, No Interference From Us

If the therapist or support group you choose is not a good fit, you can use our platform to find someone else you feel more comfortable with. We're not here to interfere with your relationship with your support provider.

If you appreciate our mission of making mental health care accessible and inclusive, and would love to bring this to your organization or collaborate with us, we'd be delighted to hear from you!
