AtEase is an inclusive mental health platform. A large chunk of our team are queer and our therapists are queer affirmative. We wanted to create a safe space for queer individuals to come together and share their experience with each other.
Sayesha is a Clinical Psychologist (Associate). In their practice they seek to be inclusive, affirmative, and comprehensive; they draw on their training as well as their own experiences as a queer individual. They are driven to create spaces that foster self-acceptance and recovery through a trauma-informed approach, following the belief that our individual existence is inseparable from our larger environment.
Notes: The above information may change from time to time, and is shared with you to understand the background of where the support group comes from.
The queer support group aims to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment for queer individuals to express their concerns, feelings, and emotions. Support groups offer them the opportunity to explore the complexities and intersections of their identities. In addition, the space will help them to strengthen and gain perspective on the understanding of their own experiences and their relationship with mental health and develop effective coping strategies.
There’s a google form to fill. Once it is filled our CRM team gets in touch with them regarding the payment. Once the payment is made they receive a zoom link that they can join on the day of the support group.
