I have always been fascinated by how the mind works, and was instantly drawn to the field because of a strong desire to help individuals work through their challenges and be their partner on their journey of self-growth and discovery.
It is not easy to be vulnerable in front of someone. Even more difficult, when one is hurting. I consider it an honor to be invited into the world of my clients. There is something so immensely rewarding about seeing the client walk away after the process, lighter, freer, and excited about embarking on their own journey, after healing from pain and obstacles in their path. I truly cannot think of a better way to live my life.
That all of us, at the end of the day, struggle with a few core issues. That we need someone who understands us rather than someone who makes us understand. I've always found the relationship to be rewarding and growth promoting for both parties involved.
