We all have days when we feel like we canât balance our time and energy between our job and our life. We all feel anxious and nervous sometimes, during a big work presentation, during an appraisal, or during any substantial changes in our life like becoming a new parent. However, when anxiety becomes our constant companion, it begins to come in the way of everyday tasks like completing daily chores, leaving the house, or interacting with friends. This anxiety when unmanaged can often interfere not just with our personal life but also with our job performance and satisfaction.
At Unheard Sagas, we wish to help you develop tools to cope with your work-life anxieties and challenges you may feel at workplace alongside other group members who may struggle similarly. Our group sessions will help you feel validated and understood, helping you reach and expand your potential.
We are two psychotherapists who have been practising in the varying capacities of a mental health professional within the purview of clinical psychology. Our current project is motivated by the psychotherapeutic groups that we co-facilitated together during our time working within hospital based psychiatric OPDs. We didnât just find our work meaningful and impactful; we found that these groups were instrumental in helping us navigate the philosophies that guide our current initiative.
We believe our lives are constantly âunder constructionâ and life is lived at its most when we truly engage with this process. We understand everyoneâs life as a unique experience placed in the larger context of their surroundings. We believe that who we are is as much a part of the larger social system as it is a part of us. Anchoring our practice within these philosophies we provide a therapeutic space that not only moves one in their preferred direction but also one that encourages us to relate with care and concern towards others.

Home rules
We are consistently driven to work within the framework of our core values and principles. These are reflected not just in our facilitation process within group therapy but are also values we use to work with each other and as well as others. We are guided by the APA guidelines of ethics and use these to anchor our work.
Beneficence and Non-maleficence Our constant endeavour is to protect the rights and welfare of those with whom we work professionally. In order to achieve this we often encourage and keep each other in check to ensure that we are always working towards reducing our own biases as well as prejudices to provide an affirmative and safe space for all.
Fidelity and Responsibility. We believe in making all our work accountable. All our groups include two facilitators, we encourage clients to provide us with feedback and we consistently work towards reducing any ethical dilemmas that may arise in our work.
Integrity and justice: We are always in the process of creating open and honest lines of communication with those involved in our work. Furthermore, we ensure quality work by keeping ourselves updated, informed and well versed with the latest advances in the field and try to use the benefits of the same with all our clients.
Respect for People’s Rights and Dignity Our work is respectful of everyoneâs right to dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. We also keep ourselves well versed with concerns of various vulnerable and minority populations and are open and honest to learning more each step of the way. Through this we ensure that we are respectful as well as affirmative of the lived experiences of those with whom we work professionally as well personally.
They should also strive to minimize their own biases as well as be aware of issues related to diversity and the concerns of particular populations.
The person will not be included in the group, emergency contact can be reached to or individual therapy for working on the concerns can be offered.
