Neurodivergent Support Group is a support group for people who are neurodivergent, to talk, vent and navigate life situations.
The facilitator herself is neurodivergent and wants to build a community that supports each other, a place where ideas, solutions and problems are discussed from an experiential point of view. A community that doesnโt conform to normative ideas and find unique solutions within their framework of personal or social experience.
It was founded in November 2021. It has grown and expanded ever since, we have created a solid group of people that come together every session to support each other.
Neurodivergent People Only. That is, folks who experience Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, Autism, or any other neurodivergent experience.
Our belief is that a problem doesnโt exist within the person but is based out of the context and systems they live in. They are the experts of their life and have know howโs into navigating problems. Belongingness, compassion and support contribute hugely to feeling seen, heard and loved. Which helps in supporting their mental health.
We refer any person requiring more support to the concerned resources.
Other diagnosed mental health conditions.
We take in suggestions from the members of a topic they want to discuss for eg. RSD or Perfectionism etc and the facilitator frames questions around that and sends it in the group a day or two prior, to allow participants to think about it. The group then meets online to discuss the topic.
Itโs a no shame-blame zone. We do not judge and maintain safety and confidentiality.
A feeling of acceptance and belongingness. Sometimes clarity and relief if figuring out a way out of sticky situations.

We've developed a curation process over 7+ years, which allows us to carefully curate each inclusive and affirming mental health provider listed on our platform.
We have come a long way since we started in 2018, and have been adapting our curation process every day. From the time a therapist or support group reaches out to us, it takes about 1 - 2 months to complete the process.
We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.
We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.
If you appreciate our mission of making mental health care accessible and inclusive, and would love to bring this to your organization or collaborate with us, we'd be delighted to hear from you!
