  • Who are the facilitators behind ADHD in the Workplace Support Group (Therapist Led)?
    Facilitator: Palkee Baruah
    • Years of Experience: 7+ years
    • Groups Facilitated at SoulUp: 10
    • Relevant Expertise: Adult ADHD, Self and Identity Issues, Anxiety, Emotional Regulation, Workplace Stress, Queer-affirmative and Trauma-sensitive Practice
Palkee Baruah is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with more than seven years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, workplace stress, emotional dysregulation, trauma, self-esteem issues and neurodivergence including adult ADHD and autism. She holds an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology and integrates evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT and Compassion-Focused Therapy, along with mindfulness and expressive techniques, depending on client needs. Her work is deeply informed by an intersectional, feminist, caste-conscious, trauma-sensitive and queer-affirmative approach. She believes therapy is most effective when therapist and client collaborate as equals, and she builds warm, non-judgmental spaces where individuals feel validated, supported and empowered in their growth. She is fluent in English, Assamese and Hindi, which enables her to connect meaningfully with diverse communities.
Her interest in ADHD in professional settings comes from witnessing how organisational pressures, overstimulation, masking and executive functioning challenges can affect confidence, productivity and self-worth. Through SoulUp’s ADHD in the Workplace Support Group, she supports professionals in understanding their patterns better, strengthening regulation, communicating assertively and embracing strengths rather than overfocusing on limitations. For her, this group is a space where neurodivergent adults can share openly, feel less alone and build strategies that help them thrive while staying true to who they are. When she is not working, you may find her travelling or enjoying her comfort food, aloo pitika. A quote she stands by: Therapy: Because even superheroes need a sidekick for their mental battles.
Notes: The above information may change from time to time, and is shared with you to understand the background of where the support group comes from.

Our curation process

Find someone who understands you, in just a few clicks.

We've developed a curation process over 7+ years, which allows us to carefully curate each inclusive and affirming mental health provider listed on our platform.

We have come a long way since we started in 2018, and have been adapting our curation process every day. From the time a therapist or support group reaches out to us, it takes about 1 - 2 months to complete the process.

Inspired By Our Own Struggles.

We launched TheMindClan.com because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to find support for ourselves and our loved ones. We know that experiences of neurodivergence (like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc), or being from a marginalized community (LGBTQIA+, etc), can make it especially challenging to find support.

We understand the overwhelming feeling of scrolling through endless lists, wondering whom to trust, and not knowing what to expect.

For Everyone

Whether you’re coping with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, grief, or any other mental health concern, we’re here to help you find the right support.

Inclusive by Design

If you are queer, neurodivergent, or are from a marginalized community, your experiences are at the heart of what we do.

Handpicked with Care

Support providers are handpicked after personal interviews and a rigorous curation process.

For context: From 442 therapist who wanted to join our platform (Oct 2020–Mar 2025), only 168 made it through our curation process.

Not Just Therapy

We also curate support groups 👥, create digital exercises 📱, and work on corporate partnerships 🏢 that help make mental health a priority in more spaces.
