The clients need facilitation more than guidance. They often have a fair idea what they want to achieve. Proper contracting and re-contracting can be a useful tool in doing that.

I am respectful of all my client’s views and opinions. Even when I disagree with them, I give them the space and liberty to express their opinion without any inhibitions.

I am an avid reader. I like to cook, and I practice yoga in my free time.

I have worked widely with people who identify as women. Where I worked with wide variety of concerns such as interpersonal conflicts, exploring one’s identity, healing from unhealthy relationships etc.

I use Transaction Analysis as my main framework. It is a theory of psychotherapy for personal growth and change. It helps us understand how people’s behaviour patterns have developed and how change can be made by analysing different systems such as childhood development and scripts that we write for ourselves.

I keep myself updated through formal and informal ways of learning about the queer community.
