What is the group about?

"Masks Off is a support group facilitated by a mental health professional, with a focus on creating a safe and affirming space for individuals who may or may not have a formal diagnosis. (An ADHD diagnosis is not necessary to be part of the group) The group is structured to be a supportive environment where members can speak openly without the pressure of masking or performing, and instead focus on exploring their authentic selves."

What is your founding story?

"I started MasksOff because I noticed that many people with ADHD, including myself and my clients, often felt isolated, misunderstood, or pressured to mask their struggles to “fit in.” While therapy offers one-to-one support, there was a lack of community spaces where people could feel less alone. MasksOff provides a space to speak openly about ADHD—from executive dysfunction and overwhelm to rejection sensitivity and burnout—without judgment, and …"

Who is your group for?

"This support group is designed for individuals who have been diagnosed with ADHD as well as those who suspect they may have ADHD traits or tendencies. A formal diagnosis is not required to join. The group offers a safe and understanding space to share experiences, explore challenges and strengths, learn coping strategies, and connect with others who relate to similar neurodivergent experiences."

How does one sign up? What’s the coordination process like?

"Participants are required to fill out a Google Form with their personal and contact details. Once they have submitted the form, they will receive an email containing the payment instructions and other relevant information."

"The session will include a brief check-in, engaging experiential exercises, an open discussion for shared insights, and a closing reflection to integrate participants’ experiences and learnings."
