What is the group about?

"This is a special offering by Mithra Trust as a way to engage with mental well-being during times of COVID-19. Facilitated by Adwaita Das, during this session we self-reflect, observe our thoughts and emotions, all while breathing and doodling! What is The Meh Ⓡ? It is an overwhelming feeling of emotions and thoughts - sadness, loneliness, worry, boredom, disconnection and so on. The Meh Ⓡ is a simple way to articulate that you’re not okay :)"

What is your founding story?

"Bhairavi felt a huge need to offer tools and safe spaces outside of therapy. Through Mithra Trust she began to offer Let's Discuss The Meh sessions as a space to have conversations around depression. At the start of the pandemic, Adwaita came on board to offer safe spaces for self-expression and self-reflection with Doodles For The Meh and Writing For The Meh. These methods of creative self-expression was born out of Adwaita's own …"

Walk us through the average format of your group session.

"Each session is 1hr 15 minutes. We begin with check-ins & introductions. Adwaita introduces us to the first doodle & emotion and guides us through it. We stop to breathe & stretch. Adwaita takes us through the next doodles and emotions. We stop to breathe and stretch/move our body. We end with affirmations."
